Focus On Wildlife Management

Wildlife management is the science of studying wild animal populations and their habitats. Wildlife managers use the information gathered to manage wildlife populations and habitats for the benefit of people and wildlife. This paper provides a basic introduction to wildlife, why it is managed, who does wildlife management in Alberta, a brief outline how wildlife management activities and the history of wildlife management in the province.
