FORM: Pipeline Reclamation Certificate Application Form: 2006 (PDF)

Effective May 8, 2006 the $300 fee for reclamation certificate applications on upstream oil and gas sites is being replaced with a $700 fee. The new fee was recommended by the Upstream Oil and Gas Reclamation and Remediation Advisory Committee to fund the Government of Alberta's external costs for environmental field audits on sites that receive reclamation certificates (including hiring a consultant and collecting and analyzing soil samples). Oil and gas operators applying for a reclamation certificate must submit the fee with their application. Any applications received after May 8, 2006 without the $700 fee will be returned with a request for the new amount.
