FAQ-Air-Clean Air Strategic Alliance (CASA)

What is the Clean Air Strategic Alliance (CASA)?

The Clean Air Strategic Alliance (CASA) is a non-profit consensus-based association of senior representatives from government, industry and non-government organizations (including health and environmental groups) who are committed to developing and applying a comprehensive air quality management system for Alberta. Any stakeholder can bring an air quality issue to the attention of CASA by filing a brief statement of opportunity. Project teams are formed when the CASA Board of Directors agrees, by consensus, that CASA should address an issue. These teams discuss and look for innovative ways to address the air quality issue and then report back to the CASA Board.

For more information on historical and active project teams, visit CASA's website or contact CASA's main office at 780-427-9793.
