Envirothon Alberta

Envirothon Alberta is a three-day competition in which high school students learn the science behind real-life issues in their community, and then apply that knowledge to a hypothetical situation. It’s intense – the competitors learn and apply so much knowledge that they earn two high school credits in three days. And it’s fun!

Open to students across Alberta, the competition is based in Grand Prairie. You and your team may earn the chance to enter the Canon Envirothon - North America's largest environmental education competition. Contact the Grande Prairie and Area Forest Education Society early in the school year to learn more about how to get involved.
