Environment Week - June 2-8, 2013

2 June, 2013 - Environment Week is June 2 - June 8th, 2013. The annual theme is Your Action Counts!

Environment Week promotes and celebrates the work accomplished by Albertans to protect and sustain our natural heritage. It provides opportunities for all Albertans to become better-informed stewards and to adopt more responsible actions. If you're planning a special event, let us know and we'll help spread the work. Make your event an official Environment Week Green Stop.

Green Stops are events that educate, empower and engage the public.Click here to learn more. Alberta Environment's role is to support regional efforts to organize public events during the week and to develop in-house activities for department staff. It's a great time to learn about your environment. Enjoy it. Appreciate it. Protect it. Make your actions count!
